Prayers Needed for Chrissy
I opened my email and found this from Louann...
Dearest Prayer Warriors,
I have been up all night worrying and talking with the Lord.
Chrissy's most recent blood work does not look good. Her Lupus is still active and her doctor is afraid it is affecting her Kidneys. Lupus is known to attack the kidneys to the point that Lupus patients need a kidney transplant or dialysis. Please pray that this does not happen to Chrissy. She is doing a 24 hour urine catch so that they can determine what is going on with her kidneys. They have changed her medicine again to Cellcept - another strong drug to suppress the Lupus. She is discouraged. She knows ( and me too) that it will take time to get everything balanced out but she is frustrated.
Please pray that her kidneys will be protected and that the new drug will not have bad side effects and that her spirits will be lifted.

It is so hard to let your children go and grow into adulthood. They use their wings to fly and that is okay. But when something like this comes along and knockes you off your feet, it is so very difficult to let them be adults and handle thing on their own. Our children will always be our children even when they get to be 65. And we want to be able to make all the boo boos go away. I can only imagine how Dale and Louann feel with Chrissy hundreds of miles away . I think we should pray hard for all of them.
