I taught a new generation how to make snow angels.

Veterans Day in Huntington.  This flag is huge!

On Veterans Day, we had a guest Pledge leader.

They each earned a big flag magnet for the fridge by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

We used the field corn from the pumpkin patch to strengthen finger muscles.

Everyone got to take their kernels for the animals and birds to their houses.

Avery stopped by Pop's and picked up some donut holes.

We had to have some hot chocolate with marshmallows and sprinkles.

Adi shared her Veterans Day poster.

Color Bingo

We read one of my favorite books.

Everyone raced as a team, looking for our golden acorn.

Back to work.

They finally spotted the golden acorn.

From snow angles earlier in the week to a 65-degree field trip to the biggest and best acorns in the neighborhood.

Our friend Daisy came for a visit.

She is getting in some big sister practice before her new baby comes in two weeks or so.

Look, Mom, I ate all my breakfast.

Beckett is putting the finishing touches on his preschool pizza box.

Mrs. Carolyn stopped by.

This is my favorite shot of the week.

The Get Along Shirt.  Need I say more?

I fly my Marshall flag and wear my Marshall hoodie.  I was a junior in high school  Mark was a freshman at Marshall.  We lost the parents of friends that night.  55 years and, I  still remember. It is still hard to remember. And I still get choked up.

The fountain on the campus, where each year a remembrance takes place.

We honor the 75.
