Super Busy Week
It has been a busy week...the first week of preschool and just happenings in Wammyville.
Bridger came dressed for success!
The first group pic of the yahoos of the 2025-2026 Wammyville Preschool.
Avery is in PreK this year.
Our new friend, Lilly.
Behind that sign is another new student, Aiden.
Bailey is an old hand at this preschool thing.
Colton is ready to try everything that preschool has to offer.
Beckett, my buddy, will be here until mid-October. We will hate to see him move on to his other preschool.

The first day of the Preschool lunch bunch.
Sad news...Medium, the tadpole that never grew legs, the class pet, went on a swim in the pond in the sky. I was thinking we need a new class pet. I was dreaming of a hedgehog. Then I started to think about finding care for him when we weren't home. Amber, Beckett's mom, planted the seed for a goose as a classroom pet. So a goose it is. Then we needed to come up with a name. Bailey has an imaginary friend named Goosa. I thought that would be perfect. I asked her permission, and she sternly said no! So the next best thing was to vote on a name. Each preschool yahoo came up with a name and we voted. Oobie won by a landslide. Thanks, Aiden.
The after-school crew.
For an art project, we needed a pic.
Each of the yahoos had time to explore the room.
Busy Boxes are such a great idea. They love them. I'm going to have to be on my A game this year.
Doing their part in the art project.

It was such a beautiful day, so we decided that we should have a picnic in the backyard...way back in the corner under the Harry Lauder tree.
I saw this idea on the Internet and thought it would be perfect! And it is. Our project is finished and hanging in the Wammyville Preschool Art Studio. Thanks, Cassie, for navigating Canva for me.
A surprise thunderstorm in the middle of the night filled all the boots with water. So first thing when the sun came up I dumped the water and turned the boots upside-down so they could dry out.
Lilly coloring her L.
This year we work together at the writing table.
And the Art Table.
Thumbs up, buttercup.
A new favorite Busy Box.
And everyone wants a turn.
The first opening of the treasure box.
We are learning to work things out without an adult helping.
Bridger is preparing his pizza Lunchable.
Bailey is getting ready to eat hers.
Taking a cool-off break with Pappy, watching a fishing show.
We had a great first week. Preschool went great. We are learning the lay of the land and how things are done. The 'big kids' do a great job helping out when the Pappy Bus drops them off. Thankful that they all think of each other as siblings. Lots of love all over Wammyville.
