Jan Watercolor Projects
I am having such a good time learning about watercolor. I am just barely at the bottom of the learning curve. And that's ok by me. Just means I can spend more time in the basement with my paints and a good audiobook. I should get as much in now as I can because spring is coming and you know what that means...outside in my happy place!
Here are my offerings for Jan.
This is me. If I were ever to get a tattoo this would be it. All the things I love...camping, the mountains, being outside, the sun and the beach.
And you know how much I love the snow!
Denise, I am getting closer.
I miss my chickens.
I love her!
We had a week of penguins in preschool last week. I guess I couldn't get enough of them.
The trees were made with the edge of a credit card and black paint.
I love learning from Andrea Nelson on YouTube. This is Day 1 of filling my book practice book this year.
Andrea also says that you should date your paintings.

I do love a good snowman.
This little old lady makes me laugh now that she is finished. That is her arm, not the body part you might be thinking of. She has her arms crossed.
Day 2 in the practice book...wet on wet and wet on dry.
I taught myself how to make envelopes.

My least favorite of the month.
Just playing around with framing with my tape. Also trying to find a signature that I like.
Working on the background. It is harder than it looks. And I must remember that I must let each section dry before trying to paint again. No matter how hard I try I always seem to smudge something.
