Stone Soup

 

Reading the book Stone Soup is one of my favorite activities in November.  Everyone has a job to do.

And I love to watch their faces while they are putting things together.

Cutting up the potatoes is always interesting to watch.  Several techniques were tried.

Mixing always makes me a little nervous.

And to answer your question...yes we do add a stone.

While the house fills with the wonderful smell of our soup cooking, we get down to some school business.

There are those acorns again.

Our new magic magnet wands.

Sometimes you get a little teary when you aren't able to get Gabe off the bus.  It was raining.

No thank you bites all around.

Avery was our biggest fan.
