IT WAS HUGE

We started the day with a wagon train.

It was a Remote Learning day so that means we have extra yahoos.  They are usually older which is so helpful!

Claude was loving all the extra attention.

Gabe and Bridger just hanging in the big wagon from Ms. Carolyn.

These two will be best buds I feel sure.

The older girls love to be teachers for a day.  They always have a lesson plan, a craft, and a book to share.  I love it in so many ways!

And the boys never complain and they always participate.

It is a good thing that we have a big school table.

Look at those handsome boys standing patiently in line for their turn.

I helped only when asked.

Look at all those criss-crossed little legs and waiting hands.

I got to debut a story written by my friend Greg. It is a charming Christmas story. It will be a book by next Christmas. These were the critics for the day. They liked it, had suggestions, and were very pleased with the story. I think it was a hit.

I think it will be a hit.  And I might get to add a little something to it later on.  I'll keep you in the know.

With remote learning day, the yahoos have tasks that they must accomplish.

Big kid table for lunch.

Younger Yahoo table.

Our second teacher...Adi.

And ALL the Thompson kids showed up!!  More fun!!!

The tall and short of it all.

All the dogs love all the extra love!

Sometimes to calm things down we turn the TV on and everyone settles and all is quiet...please and thank you.

They both are beyond the moon with each other.

I remember when they were so little.  Now look at them!!!

It was the best day.  The yahoos all got along with each other.  Everyone helped just like in families that have a large number of kids...it was great to sit back and watch the organized chaos!
