Halloween 2024 In The Books
Starting the day off with a little bit of Halloween playdough.
These two were so patient all day waiting for everyone to get here so we could get the party started. I let them choose a costume from our dress-up clothes so they wouldn't get their real costumes messy before Trick-or-Treat. The other yahoos got to wear their costumes to school.
We started with a game of Wrap The Mummy.
The preschoolers and younger ate at our lunch table and the Wammyville graduates (that's what they wanted to be called) had snacks on the school table.
The Beast
We played a game of picking up candy corn with chopsticks.
Two of my favorite Trick-or-Treaters! But Cooper's sister did give me a full-size Hershey bar. Cooper just smiled.
This is what it looked like just before 6pm when Trick-or-Treating started. Well, at least it isn't a downpour or snow, right?
I'm one sad chicken tonight. I was hoping for lots of kids and we didn't even break 50 Cassie had to turn off her lights at 174! The good news is that tomorrow Pappy will drop off our left-over candy at Pop's Donuts and it will be donated to Treats for Troops. We can trade in our candy for a free donut. I sure hope they have a lemon filled one.
