We Are Slowly Melting Over Here

 

When we play, we play hard!

We all have to take care of our own things around here.  Good training for years to come.   Beckett is packing up his lunch box in his lunch bag to go into his backpack.

They play on the barn porch which is in the shade of the oak tree and it might be a little cooler there.

Cooling off in the cols hot tub is just the ticket for the day.

Adi and Jase are off the bus and into the water for a refreshing pick-me-up after school.

And Ava made it just in time for a quick dip.

 And that evening we had a great dinner with Opal and Carolyn...two of my all-time favorite ladies at Eastside.  Opal requested cucumber soup.  It was refreshing after a hot day.

The rust on the porch is just sending Carolyn over the edge.  She showed up with some rust remover and a scrub broom.  She IS the Energizer Bunny!
