Kayaking The Little Miami

 It was a scorcher!  Glad they were on the water!  But I have never seen it so crowded.  And it was a weekday!

Ellis is in my kayak and Alaire is in Pappy's.  There is something wrong with this pic.  Ellis is going to have leg cramps when he is finished.

And they are off!  Pappy stayed home to cooperate and I was drop-off and pick-up with a little photography thrown in for good measure.

My cool shaded waiting spot at the American Legion.  They needed to take it out there because the new ramp at Jim Terrell Park isn't finished yet and the the other pull-out in Milford is private.

After being hot all day we drove back to a little joint on the side of the road close to the put-in that served soft-serve ice cream. (They have really good biscuits and gravy too).  It is called Village Grocery. And who did we bump into but Snoop!  We all thought he was in Paris!
