Helping Alaire

I talked to Alaire before we got there and she said that she needed some help sewing a little project.  I said sure...right up my alley!

She had the idea and I loved it.  It took us a bit to figure out how to do it work but we finally did!

We made a pattern and then pinned the pieces of fabric together.  We sewed around the edges of each piece so they would all be anchored so Alaire could cut out the star.  I tried to talk her into paper piecing it but nope that was not happening.  That was fine by me... it was her project and her pants.

Next was the task of pinning.

I sewed them on the legs of the pants.

She loves them and I think they are super cute!
