Oops!

 Sometimes you just need to go with the flow.  That was today for sure.  We read Hey, Pancakes and Pancakes For Breakfast but I can not find my griddle anywhere.   So Plan B was to make waffles.  Seems to have worked out just fine.

Bur first we had to see what Phil, our new furry friend, was predicting for the weather.

Who doesn't love a good groundhog puppet?

Notice the size scissors Gabe is using.

Now we are back to normal size scissors for a preschooler.  He wanted to try to use mine for grass cutting.  I love how he lines all his pieces up.

And there you have it!

And we are on to making waffles.

The waiting is the hardest part.

We even practiced setting the table and putting butter on the waffle.

Cutting  is a 'kinder' skill.

And believe it or not he ate an entire piece!  SUCCESS!
