Christmas Boxes and Rehab Work

We had the opportunity to share our time and talents with the wonderful people of The Happy Church.

We had an awesome team of talented men who hung kitchen cabinets and worked on a house's plumbing almost totally underwater during the flood.

Eastside provided lunch for all the volunteers.

We were able to fill and deliver 100 food boxes to the folks of Jackson and Clayhole, KY.

Our first delivery was across the street from Clayhole Church.

Look at those sweet smiles!  I wish you could hear each story.

This is Tracy's mom and dad.  She remembered me from last year's delivery.

The sweet lady in the orange is a retired teacher.  That's Tracy, our navigation person beside her.  Tracy had her in school and she had Tracy's kids too.

This is Tracy's oldest sister.

This is Tracy's daughter and grandson.

This water seems so calm now.  Believe it or not, this is a huge drop.  There was so much water that it came over the banks and almost covered the entire house.  You just CAN NOT imagine.
