It's Pirate Day

This is one happy boy today.  It is Pirate Day!

They had to roll a die and that's how they got their names.

 

Even on extra special days we still need to do our schoolwork.

We have quite a collection of pirate books.  A long time ago Michael was obsessed with them.  This was one of his favorite books.

You gotta know if it is Pirate Day there will be some sort of scavenger hunt, right?

And X did mark the spot!

They were enjoying those M&M's to the last crumb.

This is such a fun book. Two of their favorite parts was how pirates take a bath and they don't wear underwear.

I saw this activity on someone's reel or Facebook page and thought it would be fun.

Of course, they love it!

This was one very happy pirate.

This little pirate was disappointed because we didn't get into the treasure box.  I had to remind him several times that we get to get in the treasure box on Thursdays if all things go well.

The Kinder boys got off the bus and immediately started helping the boys put this 100-piece puzzle together.

I think they thought it was a grand day!
