Found In The Yard

One of our little bluebirds left us a feather in the bluebird box.

Jase found this very interesting caterpillar on the front porch.

While weeding I almost sat on these two little feathers.  I think the bluebirds are telling us that they will be back soon.

Jase and I were working in the big raised bed garden and I found this.  I was over the moon excited because I had been looking for monarch eggs or a chrysalis for so long.

I don't think it will be very long before it hatches.  I hope we get to experience it.

Our neighbor, Ms. Jan found this guy crawling in her garage.  We have him in the 'creature catcher'.  He has already made a cacoon.

Looks like I need to replace some tubes for the Mason Bees' next trip out.
