Packing Up For Happy Church
I wish there had been two of me during getting ready to go to The Happy Church. One of me could have worked packing up the socks and t-shirts and the other could have taken pictures of the entire process. Instead, I have one picture of one part of the getting-ready days.
Yes, I said days. First, we collected socks at church. Then they had to be sorted into sizes and sexes. They were brought to our house and we had a small army to bag three pair into baggies.
Julie went to Sam's to get all the supplies for the lunch. Lucas, Brock, and Roger loaded the Blackstone on the truck.
We also baked cookies for the lunch that our church provided. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies, watermelon, and flavored water.
