The Gentle Giant

This tradition started way back when Mamaw and Papaw lived on Lower Terrace in Huntington.  On each trip home Papaw would measure everyone by using his yardstick from the Ellis Furniture.

The last time Cassie and crew were here Ellis measured right at the top edge of the wall ruler which is 6'5".  This time he grew an inch so we had to add a piece of paper.  Crazy!!

Alaire grew some too...she' 5'9".  I think she might be taller than me which I think might be a big deal.

 I have actually gotten shorter by about an inch or so.  Guess I had better work on the senior posture.
