Quick Trip For A Track Meet

 

These meets take me back to when Assie and Emmy ran track at Anderson!

That's Ellis hiding in the hurdles.  He is actually doing some photography homework.  He does love his camera and it thrills me to no end.

Ellis with his coach.  Just throwing it out there that if his coach told him to run the Boston Marathon, Ellis would give it his best shot.  Great coach and I am beyond the moon about it.  His coach ran at Perdue!

He finished third behind two other Harrison runners.

It rained the entire drive home which was horrible but a stop at Culver's for dinner made the drive a little better.

Our goal was to make it home before dark which we did.  But on the way, we saw several bad wrecks.

The weather for the meet was so overcast and windy.  But thankfully no rain.  All three dogs got to go on this trip.  They did well but it sure does make a difference when you have to take them out to go to the bathroom on a leash instead of opening the backdoor.  That might be their last trip to Cassie's.  Winnie loved it and was worn out from all the play.
