Best PJ Day Ever
There is nothing quite like a good lazy Friday Pajama Day. I think it might be one of my favorite days of the week. And not because it is Friday at the end of the week. It is just a day where we can do what we want to do...build forts, make some kind of dough, watch maybe a little more TV than usual, snuggle under the covers and read books, work on the thing-a-ma-bobs...the ideas are endless.
We have been saving dead markers lids for as long as there has been a preschool. Today we got out the bag and decided to sort them to see just what we had.
Gabe of course chose his two favorite colors...pink and purple.
Levi chose firefighter colors.
We chose to match pj colors for Avery.
After sorting the construction phase of the morning began.
Watching and listening to these little minds work is amazing. I just sit back with my phone ready to take shots and I listen to every conversation.
The creative minds these yahoos have are amazing.
And how precise they can be.
Lots of very valuable things can happen with simple marker lids.
They then moved on to floor puzzles.
Every single one that they could find in the house. and Some that Avery and Levi brought to share.
And then we have this. Somedays there is a lot...A LOT...of talking at the lunch table. Talking is fine but we need to figure out a way to eat and talk in the allotted time. Next year when we graduate two to K they will need to know how to get it done in 15-20 minutes I believe. With the help of the Wammyville Village, we will figure out how to do it. These notes make me smile. But the receiver of these notes was not very happy about them.
