National Hot Chocolate Day

 We did have a two-hour delay this morning but not enough snow to do anything with so we made our own.

We put a few spoonfuls of snow powder in our cubbies and then added water.  To that, we added our purple Orbeez and some animals that I froze in water.  To all of that, we then added some salt to see the reaction it would have on each.

Gabe found out that the Orbeez could be easily squished between his fingers.

Levi loved how the snow grew!

And they all realized that the salt started to melt the ice.

Their hands were freezing cold so we had to have some hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and a candy cane.

Then it was back to work.
