Adi and Jase Day

 We got to spend the day with Adi and Jase doing some fun things.  We decided that since Jeremy had his back surgery and Amanda had cared for him for two days and then went back to work that they might need a little downtime.  So we volunteered to take the kids for the afternoon.  Which was a blast for us!

I almost got in big trouble.  I hadn't moved Boom since the kids were here on Friday.  I remembered just before they came in to move him.  The first thing they did when they came into the house was look for him.  And they found him right away.

I needed to get a few things finished so they did some serious crafting.

Jase made a list of the things that we needed to do.

The first stop was their choice for lunch...Skyline.  And Jase got a lesson on being a gentleman.

Girl's side and boy's side.  We all ordered our own lunches and for sure used our best table manners.

We needed a little help shopping for Whiz Kids prizes.  What better shoppers could we have asked for?  They had some great ideas and we ended up with a bag of goodies.

We went to Grant's Greenhouse at the bottom of the hill to see the awesome train display.

From Grant's, we made a quick trip home to take a potty break and get some popcorn for a car snack because shopping really makes you hungry.

Remember our list for the day?  We found a wreath hanger and while we were home we put it on the front door.

We secretly wanted to get some gift ideas for the yahoos of Wammyville and what better way to do that than take two of them to Five Below.  Now that was an experience!

They found several great choices for their friends and ended up with a little something for themselves which they were thrilled about.  I'm not so sure the drumset is going to go over with their parents.

We had a great day!  We got to visit with Jeremy for a bit when we dropped them off.

I think we have a wild hair brewing something up!
