Wammyville Fall Campout

There are so many pictures to share!  These are just a few.

Almost there!

Dinner Friday night was pizza.

It was a huge hit.

And then Jasetook a header into a rock and ended up with 3 stitches in his eyebrow and glue on his nose.  I won't show you his battle scars because his mom might literally pass out.  He did awesome and she did amazing.

These boys love to cook.

Yep, it wasn't a good morning for me.  My hand was killing me and my awesome snake heating pad went on the fritz.  It was chilly at night but we were prepared.  I slept like a baby every night.

Once my hand warmed up things were better.

The Group shot...13 adults, 14 yahoos, and 5 dogs!

One of the adults found a walking stick.

The playground was fantastic.  It was right across the road from the campsite and we could always see the kids.

A little physics lesson on balancing weights on the see-saw.

More hammock time.

The boys playing cops and robbers.

Two of our tents.  We had two campers, one pop-up, and four tents.

Pappy and Wammy putting babies to sleep.

Happy campers!

Oh no, our battery went dead.  Not to fear we got to use our jump box.  Jeremy and Jon made sure things were good to go.

We may have made a little stop at the Amish bakery and returned with a few delights.

Who could wait to eat something until we got home...not us.

What a wonderful weekend.  The weather was amazing during the day and perfect for sleeping at night.  The kids were great.  The dogs were well-behaved.  The food was amazing.  Pappy and I were literally taken care of.  We didn't hardly lift a finger.  The boys even put up our tent.  We were really spoiled rotten.  Can't wait for the next campout
