Preschool And Pumpkin Guts

Gabe is doing such a great job with his scissors.  He really concentrates extra hard to stay on that line.

Jase loves a good puzzle.  This one is 150 pieces!

By the looks on their faces, they are not fans of this activity.

We made a pact...everyone had to get one hand full of seeds and then we could clear it out using a special way I saw on Pinterest.

I cut a huge circle in the bottom of the pumpkin and then we tried getting the 'guts' out using a hand mixer.

Note to self....get a short very round pumpkin next time.

Once we got that finished it was time to cut out the face.

Another note to self...make sure the cookie cutters have at least a two inch side.  Our pumpkin flesh was so think.

And a rubber mallot would have been better if I could have found it.

The smell of cinnamon was a good touch.  But remember to get all the stingy guts out or they fall down and you can see them all covered with the cinnamon.

They loved it!

Another thing to remember...if you are infested with drain/fruit flies it is a good idea to take it directly outside.
