Wammyville Is Open For Business

Another summer comes to a close and the doors of Wammyville are revolving for the first few days.  Moms have different schedules so sometimes you just never know who will show up because sometimes I just forget.

Adi will be going to first grade.  She gets to be here for a few days while the teacher have in-service days.

Ava will also be headed for first grade.  Both girls will be getting off the bus and spending a little time with us at Wammyville until their moms come.

Jase with be the oldest of the Preschool bunch this year.  He is in Pre-K this year in the afternoon.

Levi will be in class with Jase and he will be in the four-year-old class.

This will be Gabe's first year in Preschool.  He will have one-on-one attention from me because he will be the only yahoo in the morning class.

And this is Bailey our newest and youngest member of the craziness.  She will be coming part-time.  So far so good...but she isn't a Pappy fan just yet.

First breakfast together.

We all went to the ditch to let Large, the bullfrog, go into the wild.  He grew out of eating fish food.  He needed some fresh bugs.  We found some baby grasshoppers and Jase said this would be a good home for him.  We will be listening for him.

I had a little laundry to take care of so we got to go to the basement.

Adi making a new friend.

Oh no...someone forgot the rules of Wammyville.  This is the reason that we don't start preschool or anything formal for a few weeks.  Everyone needs reminders of the rules so when preschool does begin we are already one step ahead in the game.  Well, hopefully.

Bailey checking everything out under the watchful eye of Adi.

The 'sisters'.

Delaney asked if she could come down and help with the yahoos.  Heck yes...the more hands the better.
Kids and dogs, that's how we roll around here.

This kid has forgotten everything he learned last year about Wammy's flower beds.

And here they all are...all lathered in bug spray and happy to be together again.

Gabe loves to ride the hose.

Everyone helped me pick weeds which was wonderfully done actually.

Steve and Shannon gifted us a new bench that is just perfect in the way back.

Table for two right by the window...what more could you ask for?

Bailey started out a little slow...

But with Delaney by her side, she ate like a champ.

The lunch bunch!
Then Pappy took them down for just one show.

The girl bunch.

And she is out!

We played outside for a bit and got HOT so we came in and Ellie and Louie came for a short visit.  Michael works from home now so we all have to learn to use our inside quiet voices but sometimes it just doesn't work.  I set up a movie theater with popcorn.  They thought it was such a special treat.

And talk about a special treat!  Ali brought these cookies that are too pretty to eat.  Literally, I can't eat them because they are so awesome!

I ended my day with a campfire with the dogs.

It was a good day.  I'm ready to go again!

Thanks, Delaney for all your excellent baby skills today!
