Day Five...Trolly Ride Day

This was a day and a half.  Mark bought us tickets to ride around Estes in a little red trolly.  We could get off when we wanted to and walk around to check out the shops.  All well and good.  Alaire finally decided on her souvineers.

Then we got to ride on a big National Parks bus that took us around to several hiking spots but you couldn't see where you were going at all. Plus you had no idea where you were going and there was no stopping to take any pics of anything.  I was not a happy camper.

Our bus driver was really nice and he told us that he would get us back to the 'terminal' and then we could take the purple bus to Sprague Lake.  We had heard that we might see some moose there.  It was a really nice hike.  So off we went.

I knew I was going to love it when I saw this
guy fly fishing in the lake.

There were different flowers to photograph.

And it smelled wonderful!

If I could have pitched a tent it would have been on those soft pine needles.

We came back to cook pizzas in the pie irons.  One problem...we didn'
t have all the things that we needed.

When you are camping and the store is miles away and you have to stand in line for days just to check out you do with what you have.  They didn't really seem to mind but boy did I hear about it for days!

We were driving back to somewhere and this big guy and his equally big buddy walked right out in the road.

Never ending beauty.
