Trying Out My Tenkara

 I have a new fishing pole.  It reminds me of a very upscale bamboo pole that I fished with when I was a kid.  I met Jeremy at Miami Meadows for a fishing lesson.  He is a pro!

Had a great time.  Learned a ton. Caught a few fish...it takes some getting used to.  And got a few more mosquito bites than I had planned.  I think he got a shot of all of my fish one at a time.

I am lucky to have three experienced fishermen in my circle of friends...Murphy and Dickie for catfish and Jeremy for bluegill and crappie.  I could fish all day...I know that it runs through my blood from way back.

Robin, I'm ready to come to the lake and let you try my new rod.  Get the Lake House ready!
