Groundhog Day

We are now calling Wednesdays...Workbook Wednesday for the preschoolers and Wellness Wednesday for Pappy and me.  Which in Wammy's language means wearing comfy clothes.

This little buddy is cutting all kinds of teeth and he just can't quite figure out what he needs from us.

And this nut needed some magic cream on his chapped little face.

Adi and I got dinner started.  I cooked and she washed dishes.

Levi is always so excited to come to preschool.  He will drop whatever he is doing and come running.  And he works hard the entire time.

His newest thing is to draw a rectangle and write his name in it.  We still have a little work to do on his lower case e but he is doing amazing!

We made our version of Punxsutawney Phil into a puppet.  Levi was calling him a raccoon yesterday.  And today he is a woodchuck.

In the afternoon class, we had to watch Phil come out of his burrow to what kind of weather we were in for.

Six more weeks of winter looks like a big hit with these guys.

We got a new easel from Christa and we love it!  Putting it through a workout today. Loui is practicing writing some words.

Jase started out with the shortest word.

Asher giving groundhog a try.

The boys put together a Groundhog, Groundhog, What Do You See? Book.

Asher giving another word a try.

Louie at the writing table.

Louie thinking about where, to begin with, all those letters.

The Name Game

Finally getting to make the groundhog puppets.  They did a great job following directions.

And of course, we ended the day with a good book.
SNOW DANCE

(it wasn't much after the moms came for pick-up that they got the call...everyone gets a SNOW DAY TOMORROW!)
