VVNP Hike With Emmy and Walter

 Temp was in the low 30's this morning.  A little frost on the ground and I was up before sun up layering for our big day.

I learned a few things today.  I now know where all of these parks are and I plan to visit each one of them.

We love this day!  So much fun.  We only saw two people when we got there.  They must have walked over from the neighborhood because we were the first two cars in the parking lot.

Emmy spotted the first one from her car!  That was way too easy.

Walter wanted so bad to chase everything he say.  He wanted to play with all the dogs we passed.  Think he is a little rusty so we plan to hike every Sat we don't have anything to do.

I had to go into the sticker bush to get mine.

Valley View Nature Preserve is a nice flattish place to hike.  You can hike through the trails in the field or you can hike into the woods down by the river.  Either way is great.  A little muddy so wear your boots.
