Working At Betsy's
Oh boy, does she ever have a list of improvements that she wants to make. I think we are on a Ten Year Plan with Phases 1-10!
This is the future site of a koi pond using a cast iron bathtub.
We moved the ice cream chair over in front of the electric box and put a flower pot in it. Then she wanted to move the plaque around so it would show better. Mark that one off the list, please.
We mapped out where she wants a path down to the new and improved fire pit. (Sorry boys)
We were deep in the weeds digging out two 900 pound pieces of concrete she wants to use as seating around the new and improved firepit.
We placed a little bench from the slab in the pic above to make a seat. There will be another one on the other side.
We talked a little about her vegetable garden for next year. And how to position a few raised beds.
Then it was on to the front porch.
We moved windchimes.
Added a birdhouse that will have some type of trailing plant next year.
Put a little table on the other side of the front door.
We hid the firewood under the table. Then while I was driving home Betsy made a cute table covering complete with a bow.
It was a fun full day! I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
