First Time Making Kraut

 

We have been researching and finally ordered a crock and a cabbage cutter.

There is a little bit of a learning curve to the cutter.

The recipe is fairly simple.  I like the smashing part.

Thanks, Mike for letting us use your scale.  Amazon Prime here I come.

Cut, salted, packed, watered, weighted, and ready to go.

It will be hiding out under the Writing Center table for 4-6 weeks.

We can't wait to try it.  Keeping my fingers crossed it is good.
