Creatures Among Us

I was doing a pooper scoop run and saw this in the grass.  I had no clue as to what it was.

 

Google lens tells me it is a Giant Leopard Moth.  Looks like something from Star Wars to me.

Is he good or bad?

I know these beautiful bees are good.  They are working hard to pollinate all the veggies for us.

And then we have this guy.  He is really blurry because I thought we might be in trouble with him  While taking the pic I was trying to shoo him away.  He is a BAD bug...squash vine borer.  I'm on the lookout for him and his friends and any evidence that they have taken up residence in our squash vines.  Better say a prayer for all of them because they are not long on this earth.
