Childhood Treasures

 

My father-in-law knew how to make me smile.  He knew what treasures I always liked.  These two are some of my most favorite treasures.

There is a Facebook page Gallaher Elementary School that I love.  The other day someone posted a picture of Mr. Varney, my 6th grade math teacher.

My grandfather attended the school.  My dad went to Gallaher.  I went there and so did our three oldest.  I even did my student teaching there.  So you can see that it is a special place for me.  The building is no longer there but I cherish my memories.
