Little did they know that this was going to be a real adventure.
A classic!
The little boys got to stay upstairs for the reading during Preschool. Jase thinks that is a big idea. He so badly wants to be in Preschool. His sister sometimes thinks that he is infringing on her special school time.
We read the story then retold it several times by just reading the pictures.
Then it was time to get really busy!
To save time I got a kit and I am so glad I did. But it would have been nice for the house to smell so warm and wonderful.
They worked so hard and seemed so proud of their creations.
But the saddest thing happened while we were in school! They all got up and ran away. Micahel had to run blockage interference so they couldn't see me putting them up in the cabinet.
I wish I had audio of all the scenarios. We came to the conclusion that they must have been really quiet and escaped out the dog door in the family room that ran through the garden fence, jumped up on the fence, and took off running as fast as they could.
We are on the hunt. We even made Missing Gingerbreadposters.
Some are taking this very seriously.
