Best Ever And Super Easy Instant Pot Apple Butter
5.5 pounds of apples
2 TBS vanilla
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of ground cloves
4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup of water
Peel and core apples, then slice into fourth. Or use a peeler/slicer machine.
Add apple slices and remaining ingredients to the insert in your Instant Pot. Put the lid on the Pot, set the vent to sealing, then press the pressure cook button and adjust the time to 154 minutes at high pressure.
When the times is finished, let the pressure release naturally for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, turn the dial to VENT and let the remaining steam release. Remove the lid.
If apple butter is still pretty runny, press the saute button then press the minus button to adjust to less.
Saute until thickened to desired consistency, string occasionally. You'll want the lid back on because it might splatter.
Turn off the Instant Pot and allow the butter to cool.
Spoon into jars and refrigerate for up to one week to freeze up to one year.
