A Surprise For Shannon

Someone (Barb) made me a sign for our garden so I tried my hand at making a sign for Shannon's garden.  Steve and Shannon are responsible for making my Little Fre Library.

While we were Social Distance Rock Painting on Saturday, Shannon took us on a tour of her flower beds and her vegetable garden.  She made a video last week showing Mark her garden and she called it the Notta Lotta Sun Garden.  An idea was born!

I first wrote the letter with a pencil which you couldn't see.  Then I wrote them with a piece of chalk.  Next to last step was the wood burner.  I wanted it darker so I used and industrial permanent marker.

I think they liked it!
