The First Night

Nothing like a good stretch.

I am so pleased to report that the first night with our little baby boy wasn't too bad.  I pulled the big round cushion into the living room and put it right beside the couch.  I slept on the couch and Ollie on the cushion.  The girls were in their kennels in the family room.

Tonight might be a different story.  All dogs will be in kennels and all adults we'll be in beds upstairs.  Some of them might sleep with headphones in.  It should be an interesting night.

UPDATE:  Long, long night.  Potty break and bedtime around midnight.  'Screaming' went on until 4:30am when Mark gave in and let then all out of their kennels.  Then the world was on-axis again.
