Presentation Prep

I have been asked to present a little something about how quilts were used in The Underground Railroad at Hyde Park School.  Three things I love about this...quilts,

The Underground Railroad, and anything to do with HPS.  

So during naptime I get out all my stuff and start studying.  I've put together a lesson plan and I am trying to figure out how we can make a small quilt for the classroom to keep.

But now with the early and maybe extended Spring Break I have no idea where I stand.  Do I go ahead and get all the things together in hopes that school will pick up where it left off or will the students have moved on to the next lesson?  Either way, I am learning new things and I love it.
