Crockpot Playdough

You read it right...playdough that you make in the crockpot!

Playdough In The Crockpot

2 cups of flour

1/2 cup of salt

4 Tablespoons of cream of tartar

2 cups of water

2 tablespoons of oil

1-2 teaspoons of food coloring

glitter if necessary

Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.  In a separate bowl mix att the 'wet' ingredients.  Mix the wet into the dry.  Combine very well.  (I used my Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook for some reason).  Just dump it all in the crockpot.  Here is the important part...place a tea towel under the lid.  Cook on high for 45-60 minutes.  It says stir lots for the first 30 minutes and twice in the last 30 minutes...(I did not do that).  You can tell when it is done because it no longer sticks to the sides.  Remove, knead and place in the refrigerator in a container with no lid.  When it cools add the lid and put it back in the fridge.
