Out With The Old and In With The New

We made our almost weekly trip to Costco...shopping for a few little food items.  But somehow this happened...

Mark actually has to bring me back home and pick up the truck to head back to Costco before they closed to pick it up.  Saved us close to $400.

I am so glad I wasn't with him for the pick-up.  I would have been sweating bullets and screaming at him every inch of the way home.

While he was picking up I was on my phone texting our Wammyville Village for help.  You know that they say it takes a village to raise a child.  It also takes a village to help a Wammy and Pappy with some of the things that they just aren't able to do anymore.

First, we had to figure out how to get the old couch...which was a monster...that we had been given to us by Marli and Rori's grandparents seems like 6-8 years ago.

Two huge sections and a million and a half big cushions and pillows.  Our driveway looked like the city dump. Mark called for Large Item Pick-Up and Rumpke said that it would be an extra $10 but we could only take one piece at a time to the curb so it was going to be 3 weeks and $30 extra dollars.  And it all had to be wrapped in plastic! Once again help came in a pick-up truck and hauled one to their house for Rumpke to pick-up.  We still have one to wrap and get to the street.

Not only did OUR TEAM (Mike, Marji, Cooper, Delaney, Mark, Michael, Jon, Tony) carry the old couch up, unload and carry the new couch down, unpack and remove the trash, they help arrange it in the basement.  We are blessed in so many ways!

Pappy checking it out and he gives it two thumbs up.

Again, thanks to everybody for your help.  You are awesome!
