Christmas Morning

We were pooped even before we got out of bed...so many holiday happenings and we tried our best to do them all.  A house full of grown kids, little people, little dogs, and an old dog make for lots of entertainment.  Not to mention to services at church, rushing here and there to make sure everything is done...you get the picture.

That's why there aren't too many pictures on this blog.

Mt. Michael

And then there is this.  Alaire with her artistic talents!

I know that you can't read the writing but I love it that his hands are in the shot.

So here is a clear shot.  Mark is always using the fact that he only has one kidney to get sympathy.  Well, mister, it isn't going to wok this time.

An Alaire masterpiece for me to go on my AT wall.  We stood by this sign on the actual trail in GA with Ellis and Alaire the second leg of our 14 State Challenge trip.

I love making memories!
Emmy fixed us a late breakfast/early lunch and then some of us were off to the movies...Little Women.  While others stayed back and watched the dogs and rested up.

It always takes us a million years to settle on a place to eat when we all get together.  No, I didn't cook a big Christmas dinner.  Not even a little one.  Nope, we went out and had Chinese.

Now on this Christmas night, some are snoring, a few playing computer games, some watching movies, some doing laundry and trying to catch up from the last few days.  And then there is me...
sitting in the dark at the kitchen table typing this and looking at the Christmas tree light and wondering where the time has gone.  It all goes by so stinkin' fast.
