This Happened This Weekend

 We have been trying to get this repaired for a long time but no one wanted to touch it.  We could see that water had damaged the outside wood on the porch but had no idea how bad it was.  It was so bad that if we had waited another year to fix it we probably would have lost that end of the porch.

 There was mold and ants.  Not to mention a support beam/board that was rotten.

These two are miracle workers!

At the end of day one, all dmamged boards replaced.  All holes filled and new 4 inch boards raised and put on the bottom of each column.

And the fancy little wood pieces were perfectly fitted in place.

Next day the painting was finished in a few hours.

The downspout is ready for that rain that we so badly need.
