The Day The Popsicle Bus Came From Meadowview

We got word via the best elementary principal around that the teachers would be at the bus stop with popsicles today.  Popsicles before lunch, what could be better.

The littlest people got to ride because they don't understand the rules of walking the road.  Marli was the backup stroller pusher.

Thank heavens Cooper and Delaney live close to the bus stop.  The boys got to run off some energy in the front yard under the watchful eye of Pappy from the front porch.

And here they are!

They had enough popsicles for everyone at the bus stop!  You didn't even have to attend Meadowview.

We saw 'graduates of Meadowview' chatting with their 'old' teachers.

What a super positive way to get the community involved in something so simple but so meaningful.  Maybe some of those first-day jitters will be eased.

Our favorite principal got to love on her girls for a bit.

You get what you get and you don't throw a fit!

One of our all-time favorite teachers, Mrs. Bruce.  She is also the awesome aunt of one of the yahoos.  She even had Michael in elementary!

What an awesome bus driver!

We made some new friends from the neighborhood.  They know us because...' you all look like you are always having lots of fun and the red barn Little Free Library.'

And then it was time for them to load up for the next stop.

I think they made nine total stops that day to meet and greet the community.

This is one of the greatest ideas EVER!
