Let The Painting Begin

We are busy painting rocks to go in backpacks for the kids in the community.  Our church along with I think 10 other churches gather backpacks and school supplies for the children in the neighborhood.  Last year we painted rocks and put one in each already packed bag.  This year we hope to be able to help fille the backpack and will again put a rock in each bag.

 Looking ahead we painted a few rocks while on vacation with all the kids!

Sometimes our supplies take up lots of table room.

Not only do we paint...we sometimes sing, always chit chat and have yummy things to snack on to keep up our energy up, and we always have a great time!

Everyone gets ideas in many different places.

We use paint pens and acrylic paint.

All different skills and techniques.

Super focus

Lots of focus...I think we painted a little overtime this month.

This was probably the first tray to be sealed.

109 rocks ready for backpacks!  We only have 100 more to paint.  Not worried I know we will have more than 100 painted by Thursday.
