She's Still Hanging On
Stitch has been here for just over a year this week. She has settled in. She lets Ella know when she is upset. They sound like teenage girls...lots of noise but no blood usually. She still eats. Has figured out there are crumbs on the floor when the kids are at the table and in the highchairs. She does have a new issue. She can't hold any of her bodily fluids or solids. She could be walking through the kitchen and then you find she has left a trail. She is more adamant about not going outside when it is wet, cold, or dark. She still smiles and sometimes even wags her tail. Her hearing is worse and I am not too sure how well she sees. But she just keeps plugging along.
She likes visiting with the chickens. She doesn't stay outside very long no matter what the weather. It just seems to poop her out. Always underfoot. I always know where she is...under the table under my feet when I work on the computer. Or under the end of the recliner when the foot part is up.
She is like the Energizer Bunny only slower.
