Getting Ready For The Launch

We have been talking about this for a while and since I had a few extra minutes this weekend we have started another/new rock painting group on Facebook.  There are so many Milford Rocks pages...

It is so confusing with so many Milford groups.  Sometimes you have to check all of them to see if any of the rocks has been posted.  Sometimes they are posted to the wrong page.

We tossed around a few names and finally decided on...

Little for the Little Miami River that runs through Milford...and where you can find to paint and then relocate some really great rocks.  River for the Little Miami and Ohio River.  And Rocks for...well that is obvious.  We liked the idea of naming it after the area that we are from.

All of the fronts of the rocks will more than likely be painted with many, many different pictures...but the backs will always say...

please post a picture on FB @ Little River Rocks.

I am sure that there will be some painters that will still want to use the Milford Rocks Facebook Page and that is fine too because we know there are lots of rocks out there that haven't been found or have yet to be posted.  So we will continue to watch those pages.

Last weekend my granddaughter and I painted a few rocks that will soon be hidden in the Milford area. If you should find one, please take the time to post a picture and tell us where you found it.  It is fun to watch them travel and see all the different hiding places people decide to drop their rock in.

Still working on the Facebook Page and hope to have it up before the Girls Night Out at Eastside this Friday Night.  Here is what to look for so far.
