Ava Turns Three

This is the cake that she got at home.  She talked about it for days!

Love the shirt!

Owelette and Gecko came for breakfast.

Somebody wouldn't eat breakfast at home so I just made little banana cakes topped with Cheerios.

This guy is getting so big!

Connor taking his turn as Gecko.

Ava comes after breakfast and everyone couldn't wait for her to get there to open presents.

This is her excited face.

Adi picked out a Poppy bag special, jsut for Ava because she likes Poppy.

It was just so hard to watch.

Just a little help from her friends.

Shakers...or pom poms.

And lots of little PJ Masks.

I always make a special crown for the birthday person.

Cute little crime fighters.

And then you have this.  Don't be alarmed it isn't as bad as it looks.  I can bet you a million times a minute I tell the boys to get out of the closet.  As you can see all of the tops are out in the room.  But we have some climbers.  Sometimes this happens.  But the funniest thing...after being stuck in that tiny space for a few more minutes than usual he never got in there the rest of the day.  Mark wants to drill a hole in the doors and insert a huge bolt.  Nope, not going to happen on my watch.  Anyone have any other idea of how to keep the door locked.

After lunch, it was time for cake!  I sent Pappy to Pop's for four unicorn cookies.  Pop's is closed on Mondays for all those interested so he ended up at Kroger and got this huge cake.  Not to worry it won't go begging around here.

One row was all that was eaten.  Shoot, I guess I will jsut have to take care of the rest.

Snack time after naps.

Cooper and Delaney come after school for about 30 minutes.  Delaney loves the little ones and they think she is special too.  Cooper loves the babies and they jsut giggle at him.  Today was mix-up Olaf day.

And this is how you do it!
