Today Was The Day
Wammy/Pappyville opened for business. School for the students hasn't started yet but the teachers are already back in their classrooms. So that means we are open for business.
Dress-ups were the first thing the girls ran to.
He has changed so much since last year.
I told you that they love the dress-ups!
Check out this little chunk-a-monka.
One of our new friends. She wasn't sure why I kept taking pictures of everyone. Well, sister, I think you better get used to it. By the end of the day she was smiling from ear to ear, you'll see.
Our youngest yahoo!
His mom found the perfect shirt!
I love the smell of a baby in the morning!
And some good baby napping!
While the little ones nap, the big ones play.
I think we better find some good boy dress-ups really quick.
After all that hard play we all needed a snack.
Stinker.
After lunch, all the babies went down for a nap. Adi went to her spot for a nap. And Ava and I took a rest in the basement. It wasn't 5 minutes and she was out like a light. Guess that hard playing, cool, dark basement with classical music will do a girl in.
Some more snacking and playing on the porch was in order.
The girls decided to swing.
And then they both had to have an 'Ina bun".
We had a great day, even better than I expected. Lots of sharing, pleases and thank yous all over the place, cooperation, sharing, good eating...they even remembered some of the rules. There were lots of great helpers and lots of energy.
We couldn't do it without him that is for sure. But this was pretty darn funny.
