Sweetness

I was so surprised to get a letter from Lizzie.  And that makes it even more special.  I cried when I saw the announcement!  And I know that this is the way that they announce births in the Amish community.  The pregnancies are kept quiet.  They really aren't discussed around the children.  There are no phone calls to say that they are on the way to the hospital because the births are home births.  I more than cherish this.

And the letter was so long.  I know with seven children and a farm to run, Lizzie has little spare time.  I am honored that she took the time to write to me.

I really miss my little Amish family.
