We Surprised Him A Day Early

He had no clue.  And I got some things done around the house without letting it slip that they were coming.  I am so proud of myself!

First things first Pappy, we gotta set up the hammocks.

Then there were animals to tend to.  Ellis is filling the goat water.

Alaire is giving the goats a treat of black licorice.

Then we are off doing what Pappy loves best, driving/riding in the car.  Taking us always on an adventure.  This time it was to our favorite bagel shop, Everything Bagel.

And while you are in Eastgate you always need/have to stop in to see Jungle Jim or as he calls it Jungle Joe's.  Seems lately there is always a taste test after our visit.  This time it was the Beef Stick Challenge.

He had ten sticks...ten different flavors.  The challenge...what are you eating.

Ellis wasn't sure about his first bite.

I was scared!

Ellis though if he tore it apart he could tell what it was.

Alaire though that was a good idea.
