Teacher Appreciation Week

The first week in May has always been Teacher Appreciation Week.  So this year I am going to tell you about a teacher a day that has made a difference in my life and the lives of our kids.

Today I begin with my sixth-grade teacher, Mr Cecil Vareny.  He was my homeroom teacher and my PE teacher.  And I think maybe Math teacher too.  It has been a long time since I was in sixth grade.  I remember him being so kind. He made me feel like I was something important and special.
