GeoCaching With Marli

I promised MArli that we would do something special when she came to Wammyville.  So we painted rocks and while the little yahoos were sleeping and Rori was watching a movie with Pappy, we snuck out to have some time...just us big girls!

Marli had a book that she has started recording all of her geocache finds.  This was our first one of the day.  Hint it is Miami Meadows.

Baby ducks are always a plus

We searched all around the outside fence of the Dog Park.  The hint said 'hanging'.  I assumed it was hanging from a tree.  Thank heavens this guy happened by..he knew just what we were looking for.  He gave us hints...

Hanging meant hanging from the grate.  Boy did I feel really dumb.

We thought we would check on one that was on our way out of the park.  We found the right gravel path.  But there was just too much poison ivy to get into the woods to search.

So instead we dropped a rock in the Little Library at the Korean War Memorial.

It was a fun day!  Thanks, Mars for taking me along.   We will have to do it again another day!
